At the time we were a freight brokerage known as DelMi Transportation. As our business grew so did our need for personnel. This growth limited the time we had in which to train so a solution was sought.

This solution came in the form of a manual which was written over the course of a weekend and given to our new staff the following Monday morning. The instructions were to use the manual and ask questions if they were unclear about anything. As it turned out the manual worked.

At some point someone mentioned that we should offer the manual on the internet. After some consideration it was made available and to our surprise it took off. This manual is still available today under the same title Freight Broker Training 101.  

The brokerage continued but over time it evolved into one of the nations leading full service transportation and logistics companies, TALTOA. A major part of any company is marketing, such was the case and more-so for TALTOA. Not only were we marketing ourselves but our clients as well.

Our marketing techniques included web design, direct mail, email, print, radio and just about any media you can think of. Soon we had transportation businesses, established and start-ups, requesting our marketing services which brings us to today.
